We're currently working on a diverse and exciting programme of events for 2017 and will announce them here as they are confirmed. Covering all areas from development to distribution, our events programme will have something for everyone.

All Inclusive (in partnership with the British Council) – Saturday 24 June

How to access the international mainstream

Join this lively inclusive discussion with leading Deaf and disabled filmmakers, festival programmers and strategists for a series of conversations about how festivals programme, and what filmmakers can do to get their films in front of audiences.

This event will be held in a fully accessible venue.

Tickets for this event will be available on Wednesday 31 May for Filmhouse members only, and from 10am on Friday 2 June 2017 for the general public.

25/7 NETWORK – Sunday 25 June

This exclusive event will bring together 25 producers and 25 writers or writer/directors for a speed networking session. Participants will have 10 x 7 minute meetings with the aim of building connections and potential collaborations.

This event is by application only – participants are eligible to apply if they have at least one of the following: a funded short film or a self-funded feature credit as producer, writer or writer/director. This film must have been screened at a BAFTA recognised short film festival, has won an award or has been picked up for theatrical distribution or broadcast television.

Register here.

Composers and Directors Mixer – Monday 27 June

Returning in 2017, our Composers and Directors Mixer brings 10 new and emerging directors and 10 composers together to build future collaborations. This exclusive event will include informal speed meeting sessions where directors can meet different composers who may suit upcoming projects.

Register here.

Distribution Rewired

As previously announced, we are also once again holding the popular Distribution Rewired event - a two-day focus dedicated to developing communication and collaboration between filmmakers and film distribution professionals working with new/emerging distribution methods. Applications for this event have now closed.
