God's Own Country Announced For EIFF Opening Gala

EIFF is delighted to announce that Francis Lee’s debut feature God’s Own Country will open the 71st edition of the Festival on 21 June, 2017
Submissions for the 2017 Edinburgh International Film Festival have been extended by a week until Wednesday 22 February, instead of the previously published deadline of Wednesday 15 February.

At last year's Festival, we screened 101 films that came through submissions, making up 34% of the toal number of films at EIFF 2016.
These included the BAFTA-winning, and two EIFF award winners - the winner of the McLaren Award for Best British Animation, and our 2016 Best Documentary Feature Film.

Fees: Short - £35.00 / Feature - £90.00
If submitting an Secure Online Screener via Withoutabox, these are the deadlines for submitting to the Festival via the online system.
If you are submitting a DVD screener, these are POSTMARK deadlines and reflect the date by which you must send your submission. However, please send your submission as soon as possible.
